Turn selected columns into Attribute/Value row pairs — like Power Query's Unpivot Columns.
Description
Converts wide data to long/tidy data. Select the columns you want to unpivot; every other column is treated as an identifier and repeats across the new rows it produces. Each selected column becomes one output row per original row, with an Attribute column holding the original column name and a Value column holding its value.
Best For
Turning several period columns (Jan, Feb, Mar, ...) into one Month/Value pair for time-series analysis
Reshaping a wide export into the long format most charting and pivot tools expect
Preparing data for Pivot Columns downstream, or for a Group By step
How to Use
1Connect your table
Pass a wide table into Unpivot Columns' input.
2Select the columns to unpivot
Choose the columns to convert — everything else stays as an identifier column.
Tips & Notes
Select what to convert, not what to keep
You choose the columns being unpivoted — everything else is automatically kept as an identifier, matching Power Query's own Unpivot Columns command.
